Catering information
Most of our caterers can supply a buffet style meal or a-la-carte service with wait staff. The wait staff fee is around $75 per waiter including gratuities, usually one waiter is required per every 25 attendees. Buffet meals such as a pasta buffet or a barbeque buffet start around $12.00 per person up to $14 per if ribs are included. This includes disposable utensils and plates. Other entrees such as blackened chicken ($15 per), Beef Stroganoff ($16 per) fresh brook trout ($19 per) vary, but this will give you an idea what basic costs are. Wedding cake usually starts out at $4.00 per person. Appetizers cost from $4 to $8 per person depending. An additional $4.00 per person will cover for china, glass and silverware if desired. See Asheville Rental for linen, silverware and serving dishes prices. Note china, linens and silverware do not have to be returned cleaned, but they have to be rinsed and stacked. Their website is http://our100acrewoods.com, and their phone number is 828-398-0968. Further down the road is Ash Grove Resort, www.ash-grove.com , 828-885-7216 they have campsites too.

We can handle the catering arrangements for you at an additional cost if you would like us to. We hope this gives you an idea as to what your ultimate costs are going to be.
If your guests are staying for several days we can line you up with local fishing, hiking, biking, tubing, canoeing and waterfall tour guides.
We have many other resources available as well, just let us know what you need. Any questions? don't hesitate to call us. 828-862-5354
We highly suggest that a wedding organizer is hired to coordinate your event, do not leave it to a well-meaning friend or relative, it is best to leave the organizing to an objective well experienced professional. We can suggest one for you, if you would like. Many times a DJ can provide this service. If you give our attendant on hand a list of expected arrival times of the caterer, services, band etc. he can alert you if they do not appear on time.
Deposits or payments that have been paid within the last 30 days will be refunded. There is a $50 handling fee and repayment is made within 30 to 60 days.
Contacting us: It is best to phone us at 828-862-5354 for the quickest and most thorough response, or you can email us through this webpage, our email address is: innkeeper@rainbowlake.com. |
